This is from our Gross Sounding Drinks episode but I have to say - it's absolutely delicious! If you love garlic - you're gonna love this martini. The smoke salt/pepper rim just makes it so yummy!
Mix smoked salt and pepper together on a small plate; Rim a coupe or martini glass with a lemon and then the salt and pepper mixture. Set aside.
Combine tequila, vermouth and olive brine in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until very cold, about 20 seconds. Double strain into the rimmed glass. Garnish with pickled onions.
To create garlic-infused tequila: Combine 1 cup silver tequila and 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and slightly smashed. Allow the mixture to steep overnight, at least 12 hours and no more than 24. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store in airtight container for up to a month.
