Douglas Fir Expedition
This unique and tasty drink comes to us from the The Drunken Botanist book by Amy Stewart. It’s colourful and fun – you’ll love it!
Ingredients
- 1 oz London dry gin
- 1 oz Douglas fir eau-de-vie
- ½ oz St-Germain elderflower cordial
- Juice of 1 freshly squeezed lemon
Instructions
- Shake all the ingredients with ice and serve in a cocktail glass.
- *How to make Douglas Fir eau-de-vie: Place7-inch branch tips of Douglas Fir into about ¾ cup of vodka. Put into a blender and blend until kind of smooth. Pour into a jar with a lid and leave for 12 hours. Strain it and add an ounce of simple syrup.
