Mexican Hot Chocolate (spiked)
Pure hot chocolatey heaven! So delicious – the hot peppery spice makes it not too sweet, just perfect.
Ingredients
- 1 litre whole milk
- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 4 oz bittersweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp Cocoa
- 1 tsp Powdered cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp ground nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp Cayanne pepper we used chipotle pepper powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Baileys
- Whipped cream and sprinkles
Instructions
- Put all ingredients except alcohol and whipped cream in a large pot.
- Heat slowly stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted and everything is blended.
- Transfer to glass. Add Bourbon and Baileys and top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
